Kazım Süren was born into a humble family, where work wasn’t a choice but the only way forward.
Even as a child, he carried the quiet fire of someone determined to stand on his own, shaped by
the rhythms of street life and the dignity of labor.
His journey with leather began not in boardrooms, but in the narrow streets of Kazlıçeşme —
Istanbul’s historic heart of leather — where his father worked as a laborer. Those streets,
worn with time and memory, would later become the birthplace of a dream. In a modest workshop
he built with his own hands, he laid the foundations of the lasting legacy you know today.
What stands now as a respected name in the industry was once just a boy’s quiet determination. Through hardship, he held onto the values that raised him. He often says simply and sincerely: “Discipline, quality, and honesty always win.” Over time, these simple words became the core values of everything we do today.
In 1985, he built his first fully equipped factory — a place that left a mark on the industry. When he passed it on to his brothers in 2008, it wasn’t an ending. A year later, in 2009, he founded Kazım Süren Leather, not just to produce leather, but to bring his clients’ dreams to life — grounded in trust.
Today, the dream that once lived in a small workshop breathes inside an 8000 m² modern facility powered by advanced technology, yet still guided by the same hands, the same heart, and the same care.
